Secret Identity

Hello world, meet whats-his-face:

This is the latest picture of our youngest son.  I'm rather amazed by how clear the face looks this time around.  Ultrasound technology seems to have improved since we had Kyle.  There's no mistaking the face now.  I think the little one has my eyes.

This kid has a name, believe it or not.  We're just not telling it.  We settled on a name about a month ago, and so far nothing has changed our mind, not even after realizing that his initials spell out the sound a burping pirate would make.  Yes indeed, we are quite happy with the name.  We are also not afraid of what people will think of it, either.  We just thought it would be more fun to keep it secret.

Last time around, when we settled on Kyle's name, we told everyone.  So, when he was born, there wasn't any surprise.  "Ho hum," people would say to us before yawning, "We thought you had the baby a month ago."   Birth announcements, already viewed as old news, immediately went into the recycling bin.  Then our friends in NYC started having babies, and they refused to reveal the names they chose, even when we tried to bribe them.  We began to think that was a good idea.  We already revealed that the baby is a Beaudry, and a boy (also proven by the detailed ultrasound), so why not leave something unanswered for the birth day?  This time around, when people ask us the name, we laugh and shoo them away.  Guesses are met with raspberries.  Being obnoxious is part of the fun.

You can guess all you want.  You can even vote on the name (see the poll).  You can even bribe us.  We're not telling.  Not until the birth next month.  You can be sure of that.

Well... maybe it depends on what the bribe is.
